Listen now you need some seeds for yourself

As these words are being written, it is January on planet earth. In the northern half of the planet, where we live, now is the season for dreaming big dreams, planning out the garden, ordering seeds and getting ready to bring forth new life. You can do that too, whoever you are and whatever your means.

It could be a container garden, a few herbs by the window, or ... 50 foot gourd vines that will grow up over the fence and onto the neighbor's house and into all the trees. It's up to you. You can begin by searching online for seed suppliers, (and don't forget to dance in your garden too).

Some imagery for you, to get you started:

Listen now, you need some seeds for yourself,
A pack of plants, to plant in your plot where you play,
Something good to grow up in your garden,
Buds will bloom and life will be there today.

Everybody plant, everybody dance, everybody plant,
Anybody could, any neighborhood, anybody could.

You can make a vine reach out of the earth,
You can send some life up into the night,
Shooting, curling, rising up from the ground,
Twining tendrils twist and twirl and unwind.

Just get some seeds, that's all you need, just get some seeds,
Everybody plant, everybody dance, everybody plant.

You can have your seeds and plant them all too,
Have your harvest, it can happen for you,
Make your fate, enhance the old with the new,
It's indigenous and ancient for you.

Play in your yards, it isn't hard, play in your yard,
Sow a little seed, satisfy the need, sow a little seed,
Everybody plant, everybody dance, everybody dance,
Anybody could, any neighborhood, anybody could.

Wise ones tell us earth is home to our needs,
Ask a shaman, ask a pack of sayeeds,
Dance upon the earth and into the sky,
Like a vine that's rooted, blossoming high.

Grow in the ground, gotta get down, grow in the ground,
Dance to the sky, grow very high, dance to the sky,
Grow in the ground, gotta get down, grow in the ground,
Dance to the sky, grow very high ... dance to the sky.
